About Helping Hand

The Helping Hand Group is an organisation that provides memorabilia to charities, community groups, schools, sporting clubs, corporate fundraisers and basically any organisation that can use our services and memorabilia to raise funds. HHG specialise in silent auctions (we were the first ever in Australia to raise funds from memorabilia using silent auctions) and go out to the dinners, luncheons, golf days, gala balls, presentation nights, etc to set up, staff and run silent auctions. All items that we provide are at cost price with all the profits from the auctions going to the charity, community group etc. We do not take any commissions or any other charges for our services. We also provide memorabilia for main auctions and through South Sydney Framing, we provide framing of items for the charities at cost price and deliver them to the venues for free. Our aim is to generate as much money for our clients as possible!
We have conducted functions all over Australia for all different nature of organisations. From the Red Cross of Australia Gala Balls to primary school fetes; we have helped out almost every major charity in some way or another. HHG has raised and donated an enormous $18million through its services. In 2000, Richard Ernster (one of the founders of HHG) was recognised for his work with charities and invited to run the Olympic relay of the Torch in Sydney 2000.
Helping Hand has been conducting fundraising for over 11 years and has staff covering each state and territory in Australia. In 2005, HHG branched out internationally to be conducting events throughout the Asia, New Zealand as well as Australia.
